The one official code: Midnight CatNap skin
The official Mob Entertainment store sells a Limited Release Midnight CatNap 14-inch plush. Each plush comes with a code that unlocks the exclusive Midnight CatNap skin in Escape from Playtime on Steam. Steam news confirmed the skin with the post 'Midnight CatNap Available Now!'. This is a cosmetic, not a new character or boss.
The code is not in the box. The product page says it is emailed separately to the address used at checkout, within one to five business days after purchase. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder before contacting the store.
The terms are strict: one code per plush, and each code can only be redeemed once. The plush does not include the game, which you must own on Steam on a Windows PC. Because the item includes a digital code, the store says it is not eligible for standard returns.
Where to redeem a code
Codes can only be used once the game is live, which happened with the Early Access launch on October 21, 2026. Community reports point to a Redeem Code option inside the in-game settings menu. The official product page does not spell out the exact menu path, so follow any instructions in the email that carries your code.
Redeem the code on the Steam account you actually play on. A used code cannot be moved to another account. If redemption fails, contact the official store with your order number rather than trying codes posted online.
Free launch rewards that need no code
The launch press release says the Founders' Pack can be claimed free during the first 30 days of Early Access. It includes exclusive alternate looks for all eight Smiling Critters plus additional rewards. No code is mentioned, so you do not need to search for one.
The same release says owners of the free Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 get an extra 10% off the $9.99 price. That discount is tied to your Steam library, not to a code. The Playtime Web Portal in the Perm-A-Lounge tracks progress and rewards in game.
Why 'secret code' lists are fake
Searches for Escape from Playtime secret codes and redeem codes spiked at launch. Many sites copy the format of mobile-game code lists. None of those codes appear in official Mob Entertainment or Steam material that we checked. Treat any list of free codes as unverified.
Be especially careful with pages that ask you to log in, complete surveys or download an APK to 'unlock' a code. The game is PC only on Steam, so a mobile code generator cannot be genuine. Keycodes and lock puzzles seen inside matches are part of gameplay, not redeemable rewards.
We will add any new official code here as soon as Mob Entertainment announces one. The Steam news feed and the official Discord are where such announcements appear first.
