Which Discord invite is official
The Steam store page for app 2087540 lists discord.com/invite/poppyplaytime as the game's Discord. That same invite is linked from Mob Entertainment's own announcements. It leads to the main Poppy Playtime community server. Escape from Playtime discussion happens there alongside the other games.
Discord's own game listing for Escape from Playtime also names Mob Entertainment as developer and publisher. It points to the same Poppy Playtime community. There is no second official server just for this spin-off. Any invite with a different code should be treated with care.
Fan-run servers do exist and can be useful, but they are not official. They do not speak for the developer. Bug reports and feedback should go through official channels. Check the invite code before you join.
Why so many players are searching for it
Escape from Playtime entered Steam Early Access on October 21, 2026. The Steam page lists online co-op for up to eight players. Many players do not have a full group of friends ready. Discord is the obvious place to look for one.
Proximity voice chat is part of how teams survive, according to official material. Playing with strangers works better when everyone can talk. That makes a voice-ready community more valuable than for a solo game. It also explains why searches for the server rose after launch.
Launch week also brings questions about bugs, matchmaking and progression. Players want answers faster than patch notes arrive. A busy community server is often the first place problems are discussed. Official confirmation still comes from Steam news posts.
How to use the server for co-op
Read the server rules and channel list first. Large community servers usually separate game channels and looking-for-group channels. Post your region, language and whether you use voice chat. That helps people with similar hours find you.
Never share account passwords, Steam Guard codes or payment details with anyone you meet there. No legitimate teammate or moderator needs them. Free key and free download offers are a common scam pattern. The game is sold on Steam, not through Discord links.
If co-op connections fail, check our co-op troubleshooting guide before reinstalling. Most issues come from invites, versions or network settings. Discord can help you compare notes with other players. It cannot fix server-side problems on its own.
Where official news is posted
Patch notes and announcements for Escape from Playtime are posted to the game's Steam news hub. The developer's launch and feedback posts appeared there first. Discord channels often repost them. The Steam post is the record to trust.
The game is in Early Access, with the developer targeting roughly one year before version 1.0. That means frequent updates are likely. Following the Steam page keeps you informed even without Discord. You can do both.
Codes, giveaways and events are often rumored in community chats before they exist. Treat any code you see on Discord as unverified until an official post confirms it. Our codes page tracks only codes with an official source. Fake codes waste time and can lead to scams.
